I like the walking distance from the Hotel to the beach. Location was close topublic transportation.

As I came and check out, I was not welcome with a smile, I was sent to another location to check in and out. I am dissable and there was no one to carry suitcase upstairs to the third floor, and When I ask the magaer Paul and he ignore me. Was dissapointed that the coffee place inside did not have a Puerto Rican bread or breakfast tourist want it the taste of our culture. Promote the exquisite cuisine that Puerto Rico has to offer.

As my wife put it.. Beyond amazing!!!!! The service we received was better then any 5 star hotel we went to. We were Greeted by chad at the entrance and were treated like family and not just another client. We had our son less then 2 years with us and Chad was accommodating and helpful in more ways then I can explain. I will definitely go back there when I travel to Puerto Rico. Thank you so much for your wonderful service.

    Superb

Ambience, restaurant, location, staff, particularly Chad.

In the morning the front desk is unmanned. You most go to a sister hotel half block away to checkout which is somewhat of an inconvenience. The Wifi is iffy.

We have stayed at Acacia about 25 times over 6 years. We love it and Donna is the best

I like very cold rOoms. The rooms are great, just wish they were colder. Also beds and pillows could use upgrade.

This wasn't the best hotel we stayed at in Puerto Rico. The good thing about it is that the beach is seconds away (and it's glorious) and that the art museums are a short walk away. But it wasn't a place where I would go back to.

the room where we were (allegedly one of their best rooms) was depressing. It was small, the wi-fi didn't work inside it, and the decor was tacky. It disn't feel particularly clean either.

    Very good

Location and general value in a rather high priced city. Never met the staff except one or two on brief contact, and I assume they were staff. Even at "normal hours". Wind Chimes staff was contacted usually, and they were most helpful with directions and welcome. Quite and restful location.

Lack of adequate parking facility. Orientation was prominent, more than needed to be in an inclusive and welcoming facility..

Wonderful location next to Condodo beach, cool wrap around patio, lovely hotel, awesome spa, and really cool hotel manager!

Rooms were cozy (aka small) but not so small as to prohibit us from going back again! Shower was really nice tho.

    Good

Love the location, next to the beach and easy to walk to the center. The room was comfortable, clean (we were in the 3rd floor). Hotel next to 2 good bakeries to have good breakfast: Le Patisserie and Kasalta. Both 5 min walking from the hotel, highly recommended.

They are still working on the meals they offer, they don't have many options and the ones offered are little poor for the price. I don't reccommend to eat there. There is the option to change to another hotel same branch, we were willing to do that and exchange one night in Acacia for one night in Blue Horizon in Vieques Island. However, the receptionist said it was not possible cos the other hotel was full. Once on the island, we found out the other hotel was not full but empty. So just to let you know, you can exchange nights in Acacia to the hotel in the island (no matter what they say, you insist).

The staff was incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is fantastic!

The actual rooms could use updating. A little dated decor. But the rest of the hotel was gorgeous!

The cuisine in the dining room -- fantastic. Likewise, the staff. My favorite part of the Acacia, however, was sitting on the balcony having coffee, watching the waves, and also relaxing in the jacuzzi.

Each balcony needs a little table. This will enhance the experience 100%! Breakfast took one hour to get served. That is a major detraction, and for a business traveler who may have some distance to to travel to get to a meeting that starts at 8:00, the fact that breakfast isn't served unitl 7:30 is most unfortunate.

    Superb

From the time we arrived, Chad really seemed interested in us enjoying not only our stay in the Acacia but our stay in San Juan. He gave us his personal number and arranged a tour and car for us. He lived up to the rave reviews posted by other travelers. The wireless router was right outside our door, so we never had a problem with wi-fi. Though we didn't use it, the hot tub looked like an awesome spot to hang out--with a cool drink, of course! The pool at the sister hotel was very small, but there was no one there when we took a peek, so it would be a great spot to unwind without having to deal with a crowd. The hotel really is steps away from a great beach with no crowds.

We had to walk a few blocks to find restaurants, but the neighborhood seemed pretty low key. We never had any trouble, day or night. The parking was booked so we had to gamble and illegally park our car a couple of nights, but we never got a ticket. (We were told the ticket issuing was sporadic, so beware.)

Booked.net made the mistake by confirming a balcony room when Acacia only had that room available for one of two nights. The staff was highly accomodating and switched us to a balcony room during the night it was available. Hotel was clean and had a great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. Restaurant was amazing.

Great location for beach and night life- yet off the beaten path- Sophisticated for a small hotel. Very personalized service- Concierge goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and personalized- Property is asthetically pleasing! Wonderful gourmet restaurant within the facility.

Location - convenient to Airport, Beach & City Centre; General design & ambience, - lobby, rooms/balcony with ocean view, general areas around large outdoor jacuzzi; top class restaurant & great staff. This hotel genuinely "goes the extra mile" in every sense to provide something special

    Superb

The staff went out of their way to please all their guests - nothing was too much trouble - and they even did a load of washing for $10. I Booked this hotel based on reviews so my expectations were high. Chad met us as soon as we arrived and was helpful, and friendly and made it clear he wanted us to have a superb holiday. His staff followed through with that aim. Jacuzzi was outstanding and the building was tastefully presented.

No elevator - although Chad carried all our bags up 3 flights of stairs there was no one to help when we checked out. carparking was a little inconvenient although we managed to park on the street out front without being fined.
